Keri Attanasio is a Professional Organizer and the Founder of Organize & Arrange It with Keri. Planning to leave her teaching job to be at home with her two children more, Keri became inspired by Instagramers and Bloggers who dedicate their platforms to organization; Organize & Arrange It was launched the same day she left.
Now, Keri helps business and homeowners to realize the full potential of their spaces.
“Anything can be organized,” said Keri.
The process starts with a 45 min. to 1-hour in-home consultation to discuss the uses, goals, and aesthetics of the space before determining a budget to purchase organizational supplies and booking a project day for Keri to come back.
“It is really a teaching process, letting them see how the new system will work,” said Keri, who has found a way to merge her old career with her new one.
She has practice organizing kitchens and pantries to playrooms to basements and garages, with a typical kitchen organization taking 6-8 hours for example. Along with private residences, Keri has also been hired to help local businesses function better, organizing areas such as reception desks.
“The goal is to make people’s lives easier with more maintainable spaces and a place for everything,” said Keri. “It gives a sense of order and function.”
And for those who want to tackle their organization projects on their own, she gives this advice:
“Your best bet is to take everything out and start fresh. Touch every item to see what you have and then put it back in its own space.”
