If you noticed the construction, you probably know there is already an existing Stewarts across the street. According to Chad Kiesow, VP of Facilities for Stewart’s Shops, “At 3,675 sq. feet, the new facility will have more offerings than the current location.” The new shop will have 2 restrooms, made-to-order subs, a food bar island for easy access, a beer cave, and a full complement of Stewart’s Shops standard offerings such as their famous hot fudge Sundae bar.
“The current location across the street was a smaller building, so it was tighter inside and it had a smaller lot” according to Kiesow.
The anticipated opening date, weather permitting, is scheduled for April 14.
The current location will be marketed for sale once the gas pumps have been removed and the building has been beautified. Stewart’s Shops currently has 349 locations with the 350th opening scheduled for mid-2021.
