The contest, which takes place each year during Women’s History Month, is part of a national initiative to highlight the current voices of women working in dealerships while encouraging other women to pursue automotive careers.

Spring is finally here, which means it is time for those with green thumbs to start preparing their garden for the year. Last year, my wife took up gardening and had some growing pains – no pun intended. There are a lot of parallels that can be drawn between the maintenance of a garden and tending to your investment portfolio. Let’s examine what it takes to make sure you are setting yourself up for success.

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Palette, a female-focused coworking space and community created to support women in careers and life, will host its second annual We Built This City event virtually on March 25, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a day of education, connection, and action. 

SCOTIA — To provide a financial education platform for low to moderate income families, Better Community Neighborhoods, Inc., a Schenectady-based non-profit housing organization that provides assistance to first-time homeowners through financial literacy programs and homebuyer education, will host a five-week Financial Confidence Online Series during April, which is Financial Literacy Month. 

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Adirondack Trust Company Community Fund announced that its Independent Advisory Committee has awarded Lend-A-Hand Grants to 35 local nonprofit organizations. 

SARATOGA COUNTY — The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce will host their first Women in Leadership Series virtually on Tuesday, March 29.
